Why it sounds the way it does.
Solid gamari, not plies
Gamari is a local hardwood — denser and tighter-grained than pine, so the bass note is quicker off the mark and the box speaks with a harder edge. It is the same construction as the Craft Series, cut from a different tree.
Snare you can tune
An external knob tightens or slackens both steel snare wires at once while you play. Loosen them for a dry, cajón-flamenco snap; tighten them for a drum-kit sizzle behind a vocalist.
Finished by one pair of hands
Sanded to 400 grit, stained, and lacquered by the same person who assembled it. Gamari takes a stain deeply, so the grain reads darker and straighter than it does on pine.
Fixed free for a year, mended for life
Twelve months on anything that is our fault — unglued joints, loose snare mounts, failed hardware. After that, and for damage that was never ours, we still repair it at materials and labour, for as long as the box exists.
