A solid pinewood body moves air differently. The bass note blooms slower and hangs longer — you feel the difference in your chest before you hear it in a recording.
An external knob tightens or slackens both steel snare wires at once while you play. Loosen them for a dry, cajón-flamenco snap; tighten them for a drum-kit sizzle behind a vocalist.
Every Craft Series body is sanded to 400 grit, stained, and lacquered by the same person who assembled it. The grain you see is the grain of your box, not a photograph of one.
Twelve months on anything that is our fault. After that, and for the cracked tapa that was your fault, we still repair it at materials and labour — we do not price repairs to make money on them.
Measurements are nominal — each box is made by hand, so expect a millimetre or two of character.
